TEACHING OTHERS

Campers will work in a group, team, or as an individual to create a resource for teaching others why wild cats don’t make good pets.

 

Example Ideas:

  • Tell the story of one of the animals at Carolina Tiger Rescue who was a former pet.

  • Detail some of the reasons why wild cats don’t make good pets.

  • Compare and contrast wild cats and domestic cats.

RESOURCES
ChatterPix
  1. Find a picture of an animal (one where you can see the animal’s mouth.)

  2. Save the picture (hold finger on image, Save Image.)

  3. Open ChatterPix.
     

  4. Choose “Take Photo” and click on the small box in the bottom left corner to import saved image.

  5. Tap NEXT and draw the mouth.

  6. Record audio.

  7. Tap Next twice.

  8. Export movie to camera roll

Tellagami
  1. Open Tellagami EDU
     

  2. Tap “Create”

  3. Tap “Reset” & customize your avatar

  4. Set background as bright green (Doodle, Fill Color) if you want to use Green Screen app

            OR save a picture to the camera roll and insert (Library)  

  1. Tap “Back” and position avatar where you want it (drag and drop avatar, drag finger on the screen in front of avatar to turn)

  2. Tap message to record audio.

 Tap “Share” and then “Save”

Green Screen Do Ink

Use if you want to put 2 or more clips together, or be able to move picture behind avatar.

1. Open Green Screen

2. Tap plus sign and then “Create a New Project”

3. Import the Movie (Tellegami or ChatterPix) to top row

4. Choose your movie and tap “Use”

5. Click on the rainbow circle and your movie will show in the large black box.

*If you want to put 2 or more clips together, keep adding them to the first row by tapping the plus sign.

 

6. Tap the plus sign in the second row and import the image you want appear behind the movie.

7. Tap the Save. You will see the movie exporting.

8. Tap Save to Camera Roll

  1. Decide do you want to work as a team, group or individual?

  2. Decide the theme for your project and give it a title.

  3. Gather the resources needed.

    • Material or device

    • Images and script

  4. Design the resource.

  5. Share the resource.
