Highlights from my Resume
Professional Summary
As an Instructional Designer, I have a passion for keeping up with changing technologies. I possess the ability to understand how people learn so I can break down information, making it easier to comprehend. I enjoy developing learning materials that are engaging to the learner. Combining real world examples and analogies with hands-on experiences, people can expand their knowledge and retain new information easier. I offer different learning solutions that adhere to proven learning strategies and best practices. I work well as an individual contributor or in a team environment. My experience includes the full ADDIE (analyze, design, develop, implement, evaluate) and rapid application development methodologies of course development. I bring several years of experience in developing learning materials, using a variety of industry standard software packages, including Adobe Captivate, Articulate and Articulate Storyline, Camtasia Studio, and more. I'm interesting in expanding my skill set by incorporating more game mechanics into multimedia based learning formats, especially eLearning.
